Our Story
The Human Development Center (HDC) is based in Bellingham, Washington. We founded this center from a shared commitment to cultivating our own humanity while helping kindle that same light in the people and communities we serve. We believe that our capacity to support others grows through our own ongoing process of learning, healing, and becoming.
Guided by the values of Truth, Simplicity, Love, and Service, we are devoted to creating spaces where individuals, families, and practitioners can deepen their connection to themselves, to one another, and to the living intelligence that supports growth and healing.
Our Teaching & Trainings
We teach classes and facilitate experiential learning in Craniosacral therapy, Pre and Perinatal Somatic Psychology, Attachment and Bonding, Nervous System Regulation, Embodiment, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Resilience Development, Meditation, Systemic and Family Constellations, Ancestral Healing, and Organic Beekeeping.
We incorporate all these teachings in the individual session work we facilitate.
What We Offer
We offer our services in the form of facilitation/teaching, mentorship, guidance, individual sessions, group sessions, and ceremonial work. We live by the paradigm that healing is an inside job, and we are helping people to help themselves by connecting with the resources that are already within them.

She is currently the director of The Human Development Center, which she founded in 2016 in Bellingham, WA. Clara and her husband lead a simple life and are blessed with a thriving practice. Inspired by the process of personal transformation to live clearly in truth, simplicity, and love, Clara is devoted to the unfolding of the innermost nature in herself and others.
She operates her business under a massage touch therapy license through Washington state and specializes in body-centered education.

Michael Hiraman Reynolds, Co-Director
Hiraman is co-director of The Human Development Center. For over 45 years, he has cultivated a practice rooted in meditation, beekeeping, and quantum contact therapy, a lifetime of work attuned to subtle rhythms, whether in the nervous system, the hive, or the breath. He is a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist and Neurofeedback Practitioner based in Bellingham, WA.
Hiraman offers nervous system support through Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and meditation guidance at any stage of life, from pre-pregnancy through postpartum and beyond. He also works with children, with a particular focus and specialization in supporting kids and adults on the autism spectrum.
At the heart of his work is nervous system regulation: helping the body and brain find their way back to a felt sense of safety, ease, and coherence. Through the subtle, listening touch of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Hiraman tunes into the body's own inherent rhythms and capacity for self-correction, gently supporting the nervous system as it releases old patterns of holding and finds greater ease, coherence, and settled ground. His hands-on work also meets the body through the physical shifts, strains, and old injuries that pregnancy and postpartum recovery can bring, helping the body re-find its natural alignment and ease as it moves through such a rapid season of change.
Hiraman grew up in the Pacific Northwest as an avid climber, hiker, sailor, and outdoorsman. He lived in a monastery in India for many years and has been a lifelong organic gardener. He is a world traveler and has immersed himself in cultures and spiritual traditions all over the planet.
Having received all of his training through mentorship, foremost being his training and role as a priest, he operates under the license of ministry, under which is permitted the laying on of hands.
