The Peace Education Somatic School is a growing community of students, practitioners, educators, and guides working toward a greater mission of peace on Earth through truth, simplicity, love, and service. Through classes, workshops, and community gatherings, we explore mindfulness, embodiment, consciousness, and the many ways we can bring these practices into our lives and relationships.

Since the COVID years, many of Bellingham’s gathering spaces have closed their doors. We are grateful that the Human Development Center has remained open throughout that time. We’ve continued carrying the cost of the space so it could remain available to the community, and we’re still rebuilding both financially and relationally from those years.

We’re grateful to everyone who has taught, practiced, gathered, and shared their presence here. We’re now working to grow that involvement and help this place become an even more vibrant home for learning, connection, and community.
