Craniosacral & Body-Centered Therapy for Infants, Newborns, & Families
Gentle, relationship-centered care supporting nervous system regulation, secure attachment, and healthy development from the very beginning.
Supporting Womb to World Transition
The journey from conception through pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period is one of life's most significant transitions. During this time, both babies and parents experience profound physical, emotional, and nervous system changes as they adapt to life together.
Even when pregnancy and birth unfold as expected, the body and nervous system may still carry unprocessed experiences that can influence regulation, feeding, sleep, movement, bonding, and an overall sense of well-being. With thoughtful, compassionate support, families can find greater ease as they integrate these early experiences and establish a strong foundation for healthy development and connection.
Families come to this work seeking gentle, attuned support for:
Decompressing and integrating the birth and perinatal experience
Supporting nervous system regulation for infants and parents
Deepening bonding and attachment
Supporting feeding, sleep, and settling challenges
Working through breastfeeding challenges using a nervous-system-informed, body-centered approach
Supporting infants experiencing colic, high reactivity, or difficulty settling
Addressing torticollis, asymmetries, and early mobility or movement challenges
Integrating early experiences at a bodily, emotional, and relational level
Supporting nervous system integration following early life interventions, including:
This work is designed to complement, not replace, medical, midwifery, or lactation care. Through a gentle, body-centered approach, we support the nervous system as it processes, settles, and integrates early experiences, including the natural challenges and medical interventions that can accompany pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. As the nervous system finds greater regulation, families often experience increased ease, coordination, resilience, and connection.
Every family is welcomed exactly as they are. Rather than rushing, fixing, or viewing experiences through the lens of pathology, we honor the body's innate wisdom and the healing potential that emerges through safety, presence, and relationship. Our role is to create the conditions in which babies, parents, and families can reconnect with their own capacity for health, integration, and well-being.
Tongue tie or oral tie assessments and procedures
Medical or surgical interventions in the neonatal period
NICU stays, hospitalizations, or early separations
Assisted or instrumented births
Procedures that required restraint, immobilization, or intensity
Ways to Engage in This Work
Every family is unique, and support is tailored to your individual needs. You may choose to engage with our services in a variety of ways, depending on where you are in your journey.
Craniosacral Therapy for Infants & Newborns
Gentle, hands-on nervous system support that listens to the baby’s rhythms, cues, and capacity for integration.
Parent-Focused Sessions (without the baby present)
Body-centered support for parents to process their own pregnancy, birth, or postpartum experiences—directly supporting the infant’s nervous system through the caregiving relationship.
Birth Decompression & Integration Support
Support for infants and parents to process and integrate birth experiences—whether medically complex, fast, prolonged, or emotionally intense.
Integrated Postpartum Care
Additional emotional, physical, and relational postpartum offerings are available through the Integrated Family Collective.
Parent–Infant Nervous System Support
Sessions that include parents as co-regulators, supporting emotional regulation, bonding, feeding, and relational confidence.
My Approach to Working with Infants & Families
My work is grounded in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, developmental neuroscience, attachment theory, and relational, body-centered approaches to healing. At the heart of my practice is deep listening and a trust in each baby's innate capacity for growth, organization, and healing when met with safety, presence, and compassionate support.
Rather than following a fixed set of techniques or protocols, I work with the unique needs of each infant and family, paying close attention to:
The midline, supporting orientation, organization, and embodied development.
The palate and oral system, recognizing their important role in feeding, sensory integration, regulation, and early bonding.
The autonomic nervous system, gently following the baby's cues of activation, settling, and integration.
The parent-infant relationship, understanding that babies develop and regulate most effectively through safe, attuned connection with their caregivers.
Touch is always gentle, non-invasive, and responsive to each baby's cues. Sessions unfold at the infant's own pace, with plenty of space for stillness, pauses, and the body's natural rhythms to guide the process. Parents are active participants throughout, creating an experience that supports not only the baby, but the relationship between baby and caregiver as well.
Relationally Focused & Attachment-Centered Care
Babies do not develop, regulate, or heal in isolation. From the very beginning, they experience the world through relationship. Parents and caregivers are not simply observers of this process; they are an essential part of it.
Each session is designed to support both the infant and the parent-child relationship by:
Helping parents recognize and respond to their baby's unique cues.
Strengthening parental confidence, presence, and nervous system regulation.
Supporting feeding relationships with gentleness, attunement, and without pressure.
Creating space for emotional connection while honoring each family's pace and capacity.
Nurturing secure attachment as the foundation for healthy nervous system development and lifelong well-being.
When parents feel supported, seen, and regulated, they are better able to offer those same experiences to their baby. As safety and connection deepen within the relationship, babies often find greater ease, regulation, resilience, and the freedom to grow and thrive.
Birth Integration & Early Nervous System Support
Birth is one of the first and most significant experiences in a baby's life. Whether it unfolds smoothly or includes unexpected challenges or medical interventions, an infant's nervous system is continuously taking in and organizing these early experiences.
Because newborns are still developing their capacity for self-regulation, they rely on the presence, touch, and attunement of their caregivers to experience safety and connection. These early relational experiences become the foundation upon which regulation, attachment, resilience, and trust are built.
Sometimes, aspects of pregnancy, birth, or the early postpartum period remain unfinished or overwhelming for the nervous system. These experiences may continue to be expressed through feeding difficulties, digestive discomfort, tension, asymmetries, heightened startle responses, sleep challenges, difficulty settling, or challenges with bonding and regulation.
Through gentle Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and body-centered support, we create the conditions for the nervous system to slow down, process, and integrate these early experiences in its own time.
This work may help to:
Support nervous system regulation and resilience.
Integrate challenging or overwhelming birth experiences.
Encourage healthy sensory and developmental organization.
Support feeding, digestion, sleep, and settling.
Promote greater comfort, ease, and coordination within the body.
Strengthen attachment and the parent-infant relationship.
Foster a deeper sense of safety, connection, and well-being.
Integration often unfolds through subtle yet meaningful changes in breath, movement, muscle tone, regulation, and relationship. Rather than forcing change, we trust the body's innate wisdom and support its natural capacity to move toward greater health, coherence, and wholeness.
Philosophy of Care
Our work is guided by a simple yet profound philosophy: healing unfolds most naturally when we create the conditions for safety, connection, and presence.
The principles that shape our approach include:
Simplicity — Offering less intervention and more listening, allowing the body's innate wisdom to lead the process.
Respect — Honoring the unique journey, timing, and inherent intelligence of every baby, parent, and family.
Relationship — Recognizing that growth, regulation, and healing emerge through attuned, supportive connection.
Presence — Bringing a calm, grounded, and regulated presence, knowing that nervous systems communicate and co-regulate with one another.
Developmental Timing — Trusting the body's natural pace and allowing integration to unfold without force or urgency.
Rather than seeking to fix or correct, our intention is to create a space where babies and families feel deeply seen, supported, and safe. From that foundation, regulation, connection, and integration can emerge in their own time, guided by the body's natural capacity for healing and healthy development.
